Privacy Notice — at-social.social

at-social.social (the "Site") Effective Date: August 16, 2026

at-social.social is operated by Seranya Beck (operating name; full legal name held privately) ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietor based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada.

at-social.social is a separate, standalone marketing site — a platform-fee calculator and mailing list signup. It is not the @-Social™ Platform (at-social.com), which is a separate build with its own Privacy Policy governing accounts, content, and creator storefronts. This notice covers only at-social.social.

We are committed to complying with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law. If you have questions, contact us at legal@at-social.com.

1. What This Site Collects

This site collects almost nothing, by design.

We do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind. Loading this page does not create a profile of you, and nothing about your visit is logged beyond the routine server logging described below. In fact, this page makes exactly two network requests in its entire lifetime — the page itself and its logo — both to our own domain. We don't load fonts, scripts, or anything else from a third party, which is more than most sites that describe themselves as privacy-respecting can say.

1.1 The fee calculator — your inputs never leave your browser

This is a commitment, not just a description of how the calculator happens to work today: any revenue or order-value figures you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your own browser. They are never transmitted to us, to any third party, logged, or stored — not in a cookie, not in local storage, not on any server. If we ever change how the calculator works, we will update this notice before that change takes effect, because this is a promise we're making to you, not an incidental fact about the current build.

1.2 Email signup

If you voluntarily submit our email signup form, we collect only the email address you provide. That address is sent to our email service provider, Kit, to manage our mailing list. No other information — your name, the page you were on, or anything else — is collected through that form.

By submitting the form, you consent to receive email from us and to Kit processing your email address on our behalf, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email we send identifies us as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or by emailing legal@at-social.com.

1.3 Server logs

As with any website, our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically generates standard web server logs that include visitor IP addresses. This is routine infrastructure logging generated by the hosting service, not something we request, review, or use to track or profile individual visitors.

2. Service Providers

We share data with the following third-party service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Netlify (website hosting): hosts this site and generates standard server logs. Netlify does not host the @-Social Platform (at-social.com).
Kit (email marketing): manages the mailing list for the email signup form described above.

Both providers are based in the United States. See Section 3 below for what that means for your information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

3. International Users and Cross-Border Transfer

We operate from Canada, but our audience is global, and our service providers (Netlify and Kit) are both based in the United States. If you submit the email signup form or visit this site from outside Canada — including from the United States, the United Kingdom, or the European Union — your information (an email address, if provided, and your IP address via routine server logs) will be transferred to and processed in the United States by these providers, and is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. By submitting the form, you consent to this transfer. We apply the protections described in this notice regardless of where you are located.

4. Your Privacy Rights Under PIPEDA

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you (in practice, this will be an email address, if you signed up).
Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
Withdrawal of consent / deletion. Unsubscribe at any time, or ask us to delete your email address entirely.
Complaint. Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca if you believe we have not handled your information in accordance with PIPEDA.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at legal@at-social.com. We will respond within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted the email signup form, contact us at legal@at-social.com and we will delete it.

6. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. If a change affects how the calculator handles your data (Section 1.1) or how we use your email address (Section 1.2), we will note that change clearly rather than making it silently.
